SCHMITZUNIVERSE
Universe

A company is a project. An ecosystem is a structure.

Schmitz Universe is not a collection of ideas but a system: a parent company, defined sectors, independent companies, shared resources and traceable participation models.

The model

What Schmitz Universe is

Schmitz Universe is the parent brand and long-term business platform of Jonas Schmitz. Under it, companies are founded, brands developed, digital platforms built, holdings maintained and business ideas tested.

What separates it from a conventional single business is reuse: whatever has been built once – a brand, a piece of software, a sales channel, a partner network – is available to the next venture. Building the second company therefore costs less than the first.

What separates it from an investment fund is operational involvement: we primarily contribute structure, technology and sales rather than capital. Holdings arise where we can contribute more than money.

Why an ecosystem

Why companies benefit from one another

Demand

Our own event operations create demand for logistics, space, staff and software. That demand carries new companies through their early phase.

Requirements

Software products are not designed in the abstract; they come from problems that occur daily in our own operations and are tested there.

Reach

A platform with users can launch the next one. Brands, content and the creator network work across company boundaries.

Structure

Administration, legal, finance and brand are built once and used repeatedly instead of being recreated in every company.

Shared services

Central resources

Every company stays independent while drawing on shared functions. This reduces fixed costs and increases the speed of building.

How ventures start

How new companies are created

  1. 01

    Observation

A problem appears repeatedly in our own operations or at partners.

  2. 02

    Validation

We test market size, willingness to pay and competition – before building.

  3. 03

    Structure

Positioning, business model and legal form are defined.

  4. 04

    Build

Product, brand and sales are created using the central resources.

  5. 05

    Market

First customers, first revenue, an honest review of the assumptions.

  6. 06

    Scale

Independent management, own numbers, participation for the team.

How to read the status labels

A platform under construction may show ambition but must not fake scale. That is why every entry carries a status.

Active
The company delivers services in the market.
Building
A product or operation exists but is not yet fully rolled out.
Joint Venture
Joint venture with partners; contracts not yet concluded or under implementation.
Investment
A shareholding without operational management.
Concept
A worked-out idea without business operations.
Planned
Long-term objective, not yet started.

Transparency

Schmitz Universe is being built. Every entry on this website carries a status that distinguishes existing business, ventures under construction, concepts and long-term objectives. Shareholdings, revenues, team sizes and locations are only published once they can be substantiated.
Long term

The long-term picture

The goal of Schmitz Universe is to build an internationally active business platform that connects commercial success with innovation, entrepreneurship and social responsibility. International structures and a planned non-profit foundation are part of that picture – neither has been implemented yet.

  • A parent company with clear governance
  • Several independent, profitable companies
  • Reusable technology across all brands
  • International structures for expansion
  • A non-profit foundation as our social contribution
